Russia-China working group meeting on cooperation in space was held in China. Representatives from Roscosmos, Glavkosmos, ASC LPI and Chinese National Space Administration took part in it.
The parties discussed the implementation of the Russia-China Program of cooperation in space for 2018-2022. Among other things, the parties discussed issues the cooperation between the two countries on the “Spektr-M” (Millimetron) space observatory project.
The Chinese side expressed interest in continuing the cooperation on this project. The parties considered the importance of cooperation in space. Russia and China agreed on the points and directions of cooperation within the Millimetron mission, and also approved a joint plan for the preparation for the signing of the corresponding inter-agency agreement. As a result, the relevant Minutes of the working group and the working group were signed.
