Astro Space Locator

Astro Space Locator (ASL) is a software package for VLBI data processing and analysis. It was developed at the Astro Space Center of LPI and is actively used for processing and analyzing data from the Radioastron project, as well as for modeling VLBI observations of the Millimetron space observatory. Compared to other packages for VLBI data reduction, ASL has a user-friendly graphical interface and a wide range of applications. In fact, it combines all the processing tools needed for editing, calibration, post-correlation processing and analysis of VLBI data.

ASL features:

  • Intuitive graphical interface
  • Simulation of VLBI observations, including space telescopes
  • View correlation results
  • Editing VLBI data
  • Image recovery
  • Convert data between UVX/UVF/IDI-FITS formats
  • Multi-frequency synthesis
  • Platform: Microsoft Windows (95/98 / ME / 2000 / XP / Vista / 7/8/10)
