Registration Open for the 3rd International Conference "Submillimeter and Millimeter Astronomy: Goals and Tools"

Dear Colleagues,

From April 14 to 16, 2025, the Astro Space Center of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ASC LPI) will host the 3rd International Conference "Submillimeter and Millimeter Astronomy: Goals and Tools." This conference, held biennially since 2021, brings together leading scientists in the field of millimeter and submillimeter astronomy. 

The conference covers a wide range of topics, including:

• Relativistic astrophysics: supermassive black holes, gravitational waves, plasma in strong gravitational fields.
• Cosmology: cosmic microwave background, early objects in the Universe, galaxy evolution.
• Interstellar medium: molecular clouds, star formation, astrochemistry, dust emission.
• Origin of life in the Universe: water and complex organic molecules in the interstellar medium, protoplanetary disks, exoplanets.
• Galaxies: luminous infrared galaxies, dust-obscured active galactic nuclei, properties of dust in galaxies.
• Instruments: ground-based and space projects, including the Millimetron Observatory.

Participation in the Conference

The conference will be held in person, with the option of remote participation for international colleagues. Working languages: Russian and English. To participate, please complete the registration form on the conference website. The registration fee is 3,500 RUB for conference participants and 2,000 RUB for students and postgraduate researchers. Publication of conference proceedings is not planned; however, presentations in PDF format may be posted on the website.
