On the 16th of May, 2019, the 13th meeting of the Russian-Korean Joint Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation

On the 16th of May, 2019, the 13th meeting of the Russian-Korean Joint Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held at the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kuzmin, the Korean delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister of Science and Information Technologies of the Republic of Korea, Ms. Mun Mi Ok. Among the participants at the meeting was the representative of Astro Space Center of Lebedev Physical Institute.

During the round table the scientists and experts of the two countries held a constructive exchange of views and ideas on possible joint promising projects, including the space research field. The parties discussed the Millimetron project and agreed on further cooperation.

Following the meeting, the heads of national delegations signed the final protocol, according to which the next meeting of the Committee will be held in 2020 in Korea.
