From September 9 to September 11, an international workshop “Millimetron workshop 2019” was held in Paris. Russian scientists discussed with foreign colleagues the project of the Russian space telescope Millimetron. During the meeting, the development status and characteristics of the space telescope mirror, the scientific tasks of the future mission, and the prospects for the international interaction of scientific teams were discussed.
Representatives of the following scientific organizations attended the workshop: FIAN Astro Space Center, Ural Federal University, University of Rome (Unvi. Di Roma Sapienza), French Space Agency (CNES), Shanghai Observatory (SHAO), Mount Purple Observatory (PMO), Institute of Astrophysics of Paris (IAP), Netherlands Space Research Institute (SRON), European Space Agency (ESA / ESTEC), Korea Institute of Astronomy and Space Sciences (KASI), JPL / Caltech, University of Manchester, Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), etc.
